Starting in 2026, all F1 cars must use only 100% sustainable fuels, either synthetic fuels made from captured atmospheric carbon or bio-based fuels, instead of traditional fossil fuels. This is a key engine regulation aimed at achieving F1's carbon neutrality goal of 'Net Zero 2030.'
