Chequered Flag

The chequered flag is the familiar black-and-white flag used to signal the end of a track session. It is shown at the conclusion of practice, qualifying, Sprint and Race sessions. In a race, the leader receives the flag at the finish and the following cars complete the event as they cross the line.
