Horsepower (HP) is a unit that indicates the magnitude of power an engine can produce. One horsepower is equivalent to the force required to lift a 75 kg object one meter in one second. Modern F1 power units, combining the engine and electric motor, deliver an astonishing output of over 1,000 horsepower.
