The Race is the main event of a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend, with the winner being the first driver to complete the scheduled distance. A normal F1 race uses the minimum number of complete laps exceeding 305 km, with Monaco using a separate distance requirement. Championship points are awarded according to the final classification.
