Did Not Start

DNS

DNS stands for Did Not Start and indicates that a driver did not start the race. This can happen because of a technical failure, accident, driver condition or another problem, and does not inherently depend on whether the driver took part in qualifying. It is different from DNF, where the driver started but failed to finish.
